Trained youth at a cyber security bootcamp held during Pwani Innovation Week in Mombasa, 2022

With years of training in network security, information assurance, and cyber incident response, I continue to gain knowledge and skill related to cyber security, secure software development, and cyber threat intelligence while keeping relevant with the latest trends. Professionally, I work for the telecommunications regulator in the Republic of Kenya where I have experienced a variety of dynamic corporate needs and requirements that have boosted my operations and management skills.

I have spent over ten years in the information technology industry having practical experience in customer support, asset management, web administration, ethical hacking, incident response, and open-source application development. My knowledge and skills include different areas of web application development such as front-end and landing page design, network and security hardening on both hardware and software, and deployment of cyber threat intelligence solutions in virtualized and distributed system environments. Having worked on many diverse projects, I have built expertise in several disciplines in the information technology industry focused keenly on technical cyber security operations. I am easy to work with, diligent, meticulous, and a good communicator. I am equipped to assist businesses of any size in building a reliable cyber threat monitoring and management platform, assessing existing cyber security risks and vulnerabilities, and strengthening organizational cyber hygiene all under a flexible budget.
